Meet Our Staff...
Sarah Barrett I am the newest receptionist at The Animal Hospital of Lynchburg. I moved to Lynchburg from Long Island, NY, along with my husband and two beautiful daughters. We have a calico kitty named Kairi and a betta fish named Nemo. I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family riding bikes or going for picnics in the parks. I also like to read, mostly suspense novels. My favorite author is Mary Higgins Clark. I love being a receptionist here at The Animal Hospital of Lynchburg because it give me the chance to assist in providing a warm, caring atmosphere for the pets as well as their owners. One of my aspirations is to go back to school to become a licensed veterinary technician sometime in the near future.

Tracy Hale
I began working at the Animal Hospital of Lynchburg in May of 2008. I have been in the veterinary field for over 6 years, and am hoping to continue school to obtain my degree as a Veterinary Technician. I have a son, Noah, who helps take care of all the pets at home... Honey and Ginger are the canine companions, and Smokey, PJ, Bandit, Brady, Purry, Candy, Lil' Man, and Baby Girl are the feline friends.
Kathleen Walker My name is Kathleen "Kat" and I am another of the kennel and veterinary assistants who started working in July of 2010. I have been in the Veterinary Medicine field for almost 6 years now. As I graduate from Lynchburg College with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, I plan to continue my education and become a veterinary technician. Later, I may pursue a degree in zoology because my passion is to work with large cats at a zoo. I enjoy learning about all animals and my interests include motorcycles, reading, painting, sports and having fun. Though I have only been here a short time, I have gained a lot of experience and knowledge, and wouldn't trade it for the world. I love the camaraderie between the staff here at The Animal Hospital of Lynchburg.
