Shannon Harker LVT

I am a 1994 graduate from the Blue Ridge Community College in Veterinary Technology.   I enjoy working with people as well as their pets !  I especially enjoy seeing and working with exotic pets like the reptiles, avians and pocket pets.  When I am not at work, I enjoy bluegrass music festivals. My family includes my husband, Matthew, 3 dogs: Kanani, Bruce and Simon as well as a one-legged cockatiel named Peg-Leg Pete and a blue tounge skink named Nigel, and a Uromastyx named Carl.

Cassie Rini LVT

I  earned my Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science at Virginia Tech in December, 2012. I am now a licensed Veterinary Technician and I love working and learning a lot at The Animal Hospital of Lynchburg.  I have always had a passion for healing and bonding with animals, and thoroughly love working here. I have a sweet chocolate lab named Nicki. I also have a sweet ferret named  Koto.

I grew up a New Jersey  beach girl then moved to Lynchburg over 15 years ago.  I'm the oldest of 4 children and my parents have been married for almost 40 years now, I love watching my family grow!  I've been working in the veterinary medicine field for over 19 years now and its never a dull moment, i love a job that you learn something new everyday!  I am excited to be part of the Animal Hospital of Lynchburg Family as they are a second family to me. As for pets I have 2 fire belly toads named Johnny and June, and a tree frog named SoJe (for now :).  In my free time I love to travel, I enjoy spending time with my family at the beach, including my niece and nephews, go camping any chance I get as well as taking in all of the many festivals Virginia has to offer.

Beth Sebby

I  started working here over a year ago, but have been working with animals for over 6 years now. I have multiple pets of my own to keep me busy when I'm not at work; with 2 dogs, 4 cats, 2 ferrets and a tortoise as well at my 3 wonderful children. Being originally from the Chicago area I do enjoy the mild winters of Virginia.  I am most excited about working with all of the Exotic animals that we see here daily.

Starr Huguley

I've lived in Lynchburg my entire life. My love for animals started at a young age being surrounded constantly by family pets. I've grown up with dogs, cats, chickens, snakes and an iguana. I come from a big family who also has a passion for animals and rescuing them. I currently have 6 cats and 2 dogs whom i love very much. The best thing in the world is the love you receive from animals and i am so lucky to be living my dream job of being surrounded by animals each and every day.

Mandi Weber

I grew up a country girl from a small town in Oregon. I've found myself surrounded by farm animals and pet stores my whole life. I enjoy taking care of animals, seeing the joy they bring others, and learning more about them all the time. I recently rescued a Slovakian Chihuahua while living in Italy! In my free time,  i am addicted to coffee, baking and crime shows. I have three dogs ( Abby, Oliver and Thorin) and one mischievous cat named Felix, however it's my husband, two daughters and three parents that keep me on my toes!
